linuxに入れたphpMyAdminが起動しない、の巻き

手順どおりにやったのに、、、

えっと、
まず、phpMyAdminを解凍しまして、apacheのhtdocsディレクトリに配置しました。
いろいろ設定したのに、いざ、http://(ipアドレス)/phpMyAdminにつなごうとすると

　Index of /phpMyAdmin

むむ？

どうやら、「config.inc.php」がないらしい。
ということで、config.sample.inc.phpをコピー＆リネーム。

そしたら、

　Existing configuration file (./config.inc.php) is not readable.

なんじゃ？パーミッションが変なのか？

えいやぁ、と chmod 777 の奥の手。

　phpmyadmin Wrong permissions on configuration file, should not be world writable!

あらま、だめなのね。

いろいろパーミッションを変更したところ、chmod 705 で接続できました。
